admin As part of deliberate effort to reduce the rate of unemployment in Edo State cum Nigeria, Government at all levels have been advised to see entertainment as one of the most promising way in reducing the spate of the ugly scourge in our society.
Benin base musician and traditional (Obito) instrumentlists, Onaiwu Gaius who is well known around Edo State and southern Nigeria stated this at the weekend why speaking our entertainment correspondent in Benin City the capital of the state.
He said, Nigeria should as a matter of urgency look music as a way of creating jobs inorder to discourage our timid Nigerian youth from taking crime as the only option.
According to him; even in wester both Europe and America entertainment takes a pivotal role in job creation.
“Our governor, Godwin Obaseki and our President Muhammadu Buhari should think outside oil, agriculture, transportation etc if they truly have the youths at heart”
“We are Benin, we derive pleasure in art and culture and you know that is also part of entertainment. I bet you our government can generate good revenue from this, he added.
