
Pinnacle Builder Homes and Properties have presented a prestigious award of digitalization to the chief press secretary to Edo State Governor, Mr Fred Itua.
The event which took place in Benin City, the state capital recognizes Mr. Itua’s outstanding contributions to the media space, particularly in digitalizing the governor’s activities and achievements.
According to the CEO of Pinnacle Builder Homes and Properties, Samson Areladia, Mr. Itua’s recognition is a testament to his dedication, commitment, and years of experience in the media world.
He commended Mr. Itua for using digital platforms to enlighten the Edo public on the governor’s activities and achievements.
Receiving the award, Mr. Itua expressed surprise and gratitude, saying it was a motivation to continue delivering quality work. He dedicated the award to the Edo people, his colleagues in the media, and the governor, Monday Okpebholo, for providing him with the platform to serve.
Mr. Itua advised public servants to put in their best efforts, noting that their actions are being watched and will be recognized or criticized accordingly.
He commended journalists in Edo State for their support and commitment, which has made his job as CPS fruitful.
“This award is an honor and the good thing is that, I didn’t lobby for it. It came as a surprise to me and this goes to show that, whatever you do, even in secret, people are watching.
“If you are given an assignment as a public official, even when nobody is there to direct or monitor you, just give it your best knowing that you will reap the reward”.
Itua continued, “this award is also dedicated to Edo people and also to my colleagues – journalists in Edo State who have made my work easier. Irrespective of what you write or say, if they do not use your story and make it available to the public, it will not get to the people.
“They have been supportive and also criticizes us when necessary and we appreciate what they do. This award is also dedicated to my boss, the governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo”, he concluded.
