A renowned Benin group has promised to mobilize massively and support the emergence of Hon. Osarobo Osaghae as the next elected Chairman of Oredo Local Government Area in the forthcoming election.
The group, Aiguobasinmwin Movement World-wide said only those who have the capacity to deliver should be entrusted with power of authority at the local level.
According to Comr Culture Iyamu, President of the group, he said the rich cultural heritage of the great Benin Kingdom will be promoted and supported through effective collaboration, sensitization and engagement of relevant stakeholders when Osarobo emerges.
‘Osarobo blueprint is a revolution in the area of economic empowerment and job creation, attracting investments, supporting local businesses, providing entrepreneurship workshops and providing incentives for entrepreneurship.
Comr. Iyamu highlighted the following as developmental bullet points to be addressed by the LGA chairmanship hopeful.

1. Environmental sustainability/Infrastructure Development, effective waste management, promoting and implementing recycling practices, and improving infrastructure.
2. Security and reducing crime through increased police visibility, surveillance, community involvement and providing support for local security
3. Healthcare access and quality deploying technology, upgrading healthcare facilities, recruiting skilled professionals, and providing support for the elderly and youth development.

4. Art, Culture, tourism and heritage, the rich cultural heritage of the great Benin Kingdom will be aggressively promoted and supported through effective collaboration, sensitization and engagement of relevant stakeholders and Benin Traditional Council.
5. Agriculture and food security, supporting farmers with training, incentives, modern equipment, and access to markets, while promoting sustainable farming practices.
6. Education and skills development, enhancing educational institutions with modern facilities and resources, prioritizing arts and sports to develop talents.
7. Social welfare and community development, prioritizing preventative care initiatives and promoting massive enrollment into health insurance schemes.
8. Improving of businesses environment, enhancing transparency and predictability of the investment environment.
