The acting chairman of Uhunmwonde Council Hon. Benjamin Osas Iredia has been impeached by members of the Legislative arm of the LGA.
The impeachment was conveyed in a letter signed by nine out of the ten members as sighted by DAILY FLASH in Benin City, the state capital.
According to the impeachment letter, members of the legislative arm accused Hon Iredia of abuse of office, highhandedness, financial embezzlement and recklessness and others.

Meanwhile, the acting chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Area Hon. Daniel Osariemen has resigned.
