UBTH Welcomes Coordinating Minister of Health to Edo State

The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) management, led by the Chief Medical Director Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu, has welcomed the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, to Edo State to grace a free medical outreach honoring Chief Dr. Leemon Ikpea, CON, as part of the commissioning of the Chief Dr. Leemon Ikpea Medical Centre, Ewatto Annex, Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital (ISTH).

This commendable initiative highlights a strong dedication to enhancing healthcare accessibility by bringing vital medical services directly to residents of Ewatto, Ewohimi, Ohordua, and surrounding communities in Edo Central Senatorial District through the UBTH-powered free medical outreach program in conjunction with the Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital (ISTH).
