…pass vote of no confidence on Agbonze
Members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Orhionmwon Local Government under the Executive Committee has unanimously passed a vote of no confidence on former Chairman Julius Agbonze
The decision taken at the Secretariat of the All Progressive Congress in Abudu had in attendance 34 of the 40 members of the Local Government Executive Committee Members and 50 leaders of the party in the Local Government led by two term member representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmode in the Federal House of Representatives Rt. Honourable Patrick Aisowieren and former Commissioner representing Edo State in the NDDC Hon. Saturday Uwilekhue.
The Executive Committee Members who accused the former Chairman Julius Agbonze of unilateral and indiscriminate alteration and change of delegates list also said the former Chairman had enmeshed himself in several misconducts that warranted his removal from office.
Former Supervisory Councilor of Education in Orhionmwon Local Government Council and Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Abiokunla Ward One Hon. Martins Ozakpolor was also unanimously nominated to immediately fill the vacuum. He was sworn in at the spot.
Martins Ozakpolor will in compliance with the provisions of the Constitution of the All Progressive Congress act as Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Orhionmwon Local Government Chapter until another congress is conducted to elect a substantive chairman.
