A leading presidential contender for the forthcoming national election of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Alhassan Yahaya on Sunday joined Muslim faithful in the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) nationwide to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammed on this year’s auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Maulud.
Also, the Deputy Presidential Candidate, Abimbola Oyetunde rejoiced with Muslim journalists and tasked them to imbibe the teachings of the holy prophet Muhammed (SAW).
According to a statement issued by Comrade Ademola Babalola on behalf of Team A+A rooting for both leaders’ emergence come November election in Owerri, Imo State, the Prophet’s life and times symbolized resilience, empathy, unity and brotherhood, respect and care for all; humility and modesty and above all, submission to the will of Almighty Allah and as a Union, we have lots to learn from those virtues of Muhammed.
