Hon. Oladele Bankole Balogun, Chairman of Edo State Internal Revenue Service, EIRS has appealed christians to be christlike in all their actions.
He said Edolites must learn to be selfless, and dedicated to activities that promote human love accordance with the teachings and exemplary life Christ while on earth.
According to Hon Bankole who spoke to DAILY FLASH in Benin City, the state capital as part of his season message to christians in Edo and Nigeria at large should imbibe the spirit of love and forgiveness just as Christ forgave human sins.
“This is Easter period and it is a time to show love, Edo people should put hands together to work with the current administration of the governor, senator Monday Okpebholo to move the state forward for progress and development.
Political class should also wear the face of unity, oneness and join hands together to build a vibrant Edo State to an enviable position before the global stage in respective of our political alignment.
Edo people should critically assess the current administration and consider how best they can support the government’s efforts to advance the state he added.
