The house belonging to Pa Anthony Osawaru father of eighteen years, Osarodion Osawaru has been set ablaze over the death of a young lady Stella Okoro, 40years, now deceased during marking of the biannual (2 years) Issiokuo gun festival in Evboesi village, Orhionmwon Local government Area of Edo State.
The trained electric welder, Osarodion with basic elementary and secondary schools certification was lucky as he escaped from a reprisal attack that is allegedly targeted at ending his life on that faithful day in September, after he claimed the ugly incident wasn’t intentional during gun shooting festival in his village, Evboesi, though it was a locally made guns.
All did not end up well as the gun that was handled by Osarodion Osawaru mistakenly or accidentally discharged leading to the death of a lady now deceased. This led to the family launching a reprisal or man hot on the whereabouts of Osarodion for possible revenge or retaliation.
It was gathered that it became a serious concern for Osarodion to escape for his life after it was evidently clear that the deceased family wanted to eliminate him at all cost, thereby making it a shared sorrow or pain.
Daily Flash gathered that, the traditional ruler and Odionwere, ( quarter heads) were in support though not too clear but community dwellers said their body language depict support for total reprisal (killing Osarodion Osawaru).
It was further gathered that the irate family of the deceased went further to set ablaze the house belonging to Pa Osawaru the father of Osarodion Osawaru now at large (nowhere to be found). He whereabouts remains unknown to his immediate family.
When contacted, the police public relations officer, PPRO, Edo State command, CSP U. Theodore confirmed to DAILY FLASH as at press time that the incident actually happened but the principal or main suspect, Osarodion yet to be arrested. He enjoyed the family, the community not to take laws into their hand as the rationale behind the death will be unraveled by the police whether it was a case of true murder or not, saying cultural festive shouldn’t be celebrated or marked with gun shooting of any kind. Even when the family of the deceased has vowed to unalive Osarodion whenever and where he is seen.
