
Few days after his historic coronation ceremony, the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella, His Royal Majesty Engr. Michael Sado has reaffirmed his commitment in fostering Development in Okpella.
He made this known during an inspection of the proposed site of the new court complex and Police Area command along Ewor market/Afokpella road.
Okuokpellagbe who visited the magistrate court situated within the premises of the Ikpomaza Grammar School in Awuyemi and Okashe, expressed his displeasure in the dilapidated conditions of the buildings.
He said plan of relocating the magistrate court to the center of the community is been considered what the aimed of providing a conducive environment for the staff. This according to him is to ensure that disputes and criminal cases are tried within Okpella instead of moving it to Agenebode or elsewhere.
Similarly, the Okuokpellagbe and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to Alhaji Abdulkadiri Afegbua who is a patriarch of the Afegbua royal family and a respected leader in Okpella.Council chiefs and village heads who came in the company of HRM, paid their respects to the Oyolo who was very delighted to have HRM in his home.
Returning to his Palace, the Okuokpellagbe received in Audience, the branch manager and staff of Zenith bank, Auchi branch who came on a congratulatory visit to the king on the occasion of his coronation. The king discussed further with the manager and staff about positioning a bank in Okpella.
