…we won’t give up, no matter the situation – house leader
Hon. Thompson Osagie, Orhionmwon local government chairman, Edo State has promised to do everything possible in order to attract the needed investments that will turn things around within the council.
The LGA boss, gave this assurance as part of his celebration message to his constituents on the occasion of marking Nigeria sixty-five years of independence on Wednesday, 1 of October, 2025.
According to him on a message titled ‘charting a brighter future for Orhionmwon’ he said he is aware of the challenges facing the LGA which includes, inadequate power supply, poor infrastructure and security concerns but he is committed to finding solutions in collaboration with the agenda of Gov Monday Okpebholo.
‘My team and I are working diligently on the electrification of Orhionmwon, a major project that our administration will commence soon.
Hon Osagie said there was urgent need for every hand to be on deck in achieving the dreams behind Nigeria independence even as the country makes sixty-five year of self substance.
‘We will commence grading major roads across the twelve wards, construction of industrial boreholes in communities, attraction of sustainable investments and revamping of our primary healthcare and education sector.
Meanwhile, the councillors representing Ugu ward, Hon. Comr. Kelly Ogbeide noted that Nigeria is in for a better day as hopes are high in deliberate action gear towards delivery of good governance to the people especially at the ward and LGA level owing to the new approach by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“We may not have attained the vision of our patriots, but i’m optimistic about Nigeria’s attainment of greatness in the near future, We won’t give up, no matter what the challenges may be, we must continue to cooperate and support peaceful existence. Ogbeide added.
