Church workers have been charged to renew their service to God with “fresh oil” and avoid spiritual dryness, prayerlessness, and powerlessness.
The admonition was given by Pastor Godspower Irabor, Regional Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM, Midwest Region 111, during the maiden edition of the Workers’ Retreat held at the regional headquarters in Idokpa.
Speaking on the theme, “Anointed With Fresh Oil,” Pastor Irabor, while referencing Psalm 92:10, described fresh oil as the daily renewal of the Holy Spirit and His power.
He warned that the absence of fresh oil leads to defeat, spiritual dryness, weak prayer life, lack of revival, and the absence of God’s presence and authority.
The one-day retreat featured lectures on “Understanding Church Vision and Leadership,” “Who is a Disciple,” and “Loyalty.”
There were also high-powered prayer sessions aimed at breaking ministerial stagnation and releasing divine anointing and fresh oil upon the servants of God.
Among the pastors present at the event were Pastor Idahosa Osagie, Pastor Joseph Asuwata, Pastor Arebamhen, Zonal Coordinator, Pastor Enoghase Vincent Iseguan, Pastor Innocent Okoh, and several others.
The retreat ended with renewed commitment from workers to serve God with renewed vigor and spiritual vitality.
