Encomium reigns as Engr. Shaba bowed out of active service in Niger State

As the director, Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics under Niger State Ministry of Works and Infrastructural Development, Engr. Musa C. Shaba bowed out of service, staff under his ministry gathered to celebrate his remarkable service and contribution.

The ceremony, held at the Ministry’s headquarters to honour the exit of Engr Shaba was attended by distinguished guests, colleagues, friends, and both his immediate and extended family.

The event began with an opening prayer led by a designated prayer leader, setting the tone for a heartfelt and celebratory ceremony witness Professor Takura C. Saidu from the Federal University of Technology, Minna reading the citation of Engr. Shaba who highlighted his achievements and contributions to the Ministry.

According to the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, QS Hassan Baba who delivered opening remarks, showered encomium on Engr. Shaba’s dedication and commitment to the development of Niger State.

There was also Goodwill messages from colleagues and dignitaries, acknowledging Engr. Shaba’s tireless efforts in shaping the state’s infrastructural landscape.

While performing, demonstrating and presenting handing over note to the acting director of the same ministry, QS Ashiya Alfa, Engr. Shaba who could not hide his emotions expressed gratitude to his colleagues and the Ministry.

Highlights of the event was presentation of gifts.
