Edo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, on Sunday announced May 8 to 10 as the funeral activities for his late mother, Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo, who died in Benin last week at 95 years.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo, the deputy governor said various activities have been lined up that will lead to her final interment on May 9.

“It is going to be a Christian burial. On the 8th, her body will leave for a night of tributes and funeral activities. On the 9th, will be the socials, and, the 10th, will be the thanksgiving.”
He said he would communicate the line of schedules in due cause to keep people abreast of what the family intends to do.
Idahosa added: “The family intends to give her a very befitting burial. We expect everyone to be part of it.

We are going to join hands with everybody, including her family, her community, our state, to thank God because it is a celebration of life.
“As the last child of the family, I am very grateful. Although I missed her every now and then, I know she has gone to be with the Lord to rest the statement added.
