Speaking to journalist in Benin City, Edo State capital, the Regional Manager, Africa, Aston University Mr Babajide Ogundeji pointed out that studying in the UK is now exciting with payment options and sound hitch-free academic calendar for those looking forward to study in the United Kingdom.
“The world japa is negative; it means you just want to get away. So, if they want to study, they should come and study to improve the quality of their lives and then to be ready for opportunities that present themselves after studies and I want them to change their mind set from this japa mentality.
They should forget ‘japa’ and grab study Opportunities in the UK.
While priding her school, Yewande Adewale, representing University of Central Lancashire University, UClan, noted that they are students friendly and supportive, and that they are well connected to link graduates to their dream jobs in the UK and any where in the world.
“We support our students at all levels. Most of our students do graduate with a First Class and we have good link with industry whereby they can get their dream jobs after graduation. I mean drams Jobs in the UK and across the globe.
Another representative from Cambridge Education Group, Leke Osintelu, said his University, Cambridge offers foundation and pre masters, adding that his University cut across the globe hence it offers prospective students opportunity to make choice.
“The way ours works, we offer under graduate foundation programme, and also pre masters. So, the undergraduate foundation is for those students who just completed WAEC and wish to study abroad. And the pre masters is for those who have completed their HND and wish to study their masters abroad.
